The Inspiration Behind the Artwork

"A Força Negra" is born from the mystery that dwells between iron and flower.

Inspired by the Snake Plant, a symbol of power and protection, Mileide Barros’s artwork transforms the ancestral energy of nature into art. Like the sword that cuts through the unseen and wards off evil, this jaguar rises as a guardian - a symbol of courage, spirituality, and resilience.

Created by Mileide Barros, an artist who transforms strength into gesture and color, the sculpture is a tribute to the vitality that pulses through the earth and to the invisible presence that protects us. Jaguar Parade is an art movement with a powerful purpose: to unite art and awareness in support of jaguar conservation and the protection of their natural habitats. Through open-air cultural exhibitions, we transform urban spaces into living galleries, sparking curiosity, inspiring reflection, and encouraging dialogue about the importance of conservation. At the end of each exhibition, the sculptures are auctioned, and 100% of the net proceeds are donated to jaguar conservation projects.
