The Inspiration Behind the Artwork
Created by artist Valéria Rocchiciolli, this artwork questions our relationship with nature. "Vida" replaces the jaguar’s natural skin with recycled material representing our symbols of vanity and consumption. The artwork denounces how animal exploitation fuels fashion and status, creating an imbalance in nature. By covering the jaguar with our own imprints, it transfers the instinct for survival, prompting reflection on who truly needs to be preserved.

About Jaguar Parade
Jaguar Parade is an art movement with a powerful purpose: to unite art and awareness in support of jaguar conservation and the protection of their natural habitats. Through open-air cultural exhibitions, we transform urban spaces into living galleries, sparking curiosity, inspiring reflection, and encouraging dialogue about the importance of conservation. At the end of each exhibition, the sculptures are auctioned, and 100% of the net proceeds are donated to jaguar conservation projects.
